You are an really experienced coach on English speaking/ listening. And you always address my weaknesses quickly and keep improving them with me. I have confidence in talking with others directly now since you always encourage me. Thanks so much for your enthusiasm.
Amy helped me a lot in how to understand and communicate properly in English. She designed different tasks that was tailored to my weaknesses, and gave me instant and detailed feedbacks during our weekly class. It was a great experience to learn English with Amy. We have various conversations and writing assignments in both general and professional topics, which I really enjoyed. Her advice also helped me get through the application process of the graduate school in the U.S. I can see my improvement after Amy’s Class that I could not get from online English courses. I’ve been in the software industry for a very long time and although I’m pretty fluent when discussing work related matters, I felt that my situational English needed improvement.
So, I found Amy through Craigslist and we’ve had a number of classes.
During the course of training she’s brought me to a totally different plane. She’s managed to simultaneously bump up my English speaking confidence and comfort levels, while enriching my active vocabulary.

I have a strong foreign accent. I want to reduce it and want to sound like American. Before knowing Amy, I had taken a lot of lessons with other tutors, but I hadn’t got much improvement. Since I started to learn and practice with Amy, I found myself to be more confident, more extraverted, and of course sound more American. The stress, intonations, linking, reduction just come as naturally as I speak.
Amy is an excellent tutor for not only American English but also great communication. I first met with Amy to improve my pronunciation and learn more proper phrases and words in work situation, but she also helped how to communicate with stakeholders in more efficient and persuasive ways. I learned from her about the communication tips. I really appreciate her effort and highly recommend working with her!
